Condition of book is poor, because of the spine and hardcover. Have attached photos of hardcover and spine. Inside of hardcover has writings identifying when/where book was gifted. Three different times readable - all in the 1930s. Have seen no markings inside book. The inside of book is good. Problem is the hardcover and spine.

Book is in fair condition.. Hard cover is stained and weathered. The spine has wear on the edges. The binding is not tight. The book is a Peoples Book Club Edition, a special edition published exclusively for its members. Inside hardcover is name of previous owner, and dated 1946. The book is very readable. It was produced under emergency conditions in full compliance with the War Production Board conservation orders. There is no dust jacket.

Book is in poor condition. The cover, both front and back heavily worn. Binding and spine also in poor condition. Book remain still very readable inside. Burn mark on back cover. Photos attached of these weaknesses to better allow potential buyers to see the condition of book.
