Beautiful dark paper boards that appear to be wood grain patterned. The cover shows signs of rubbing and wear. There is damage to the spine, where one can see the paste pieces used from other works. Red book edges. There is foxing present throughout the work (see images). The only annotation is a previous owner's name on the front endpaper, "Edward Arsim. Stud. Theol. 8. Februar 1899."
This title translates to Christ, Person and Work with bonus part of "The Work of the Centers (mittliers)." This was published for " vom Mittelpunkte der Christologie, aus" or from the Center of Christology in Auschwitz.

Antique Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev Hardback Good Condition P.F. Collier & Son in good condition. Translated from Russian with a frontispiece and biographical sketch. This is an ex-libris edition given to a library in Pennsylvania. There are markings in the book signifying this including a bookplate, numbers on lower spine, and slight discoloration where a library pocket used to be (see images). There is no published date, but research shows this was most likely published in 1900. Book pages are free from marks or annotations.

Both volumes are the George Macy Company Editions with The Heritage Press. The illustrations have been completed by the famous artist and friend of Twain, Norman Rockwell.
