The book very good with original 13 plates and fold out map of Oxford. Half title and bookplate and signed for the author and illustrator Gordon Home with previous inscribed owner 'A. Fontaine, St Mary Hall' Scattered light foxing, the map with minor tears and old repairs. Marbled page edges. Cover well worn with scratches and bumps as well as losses to spine. Cracked hinges title block to spine later added.
