This hard back first edition book by now deceased Tom Wolfe is i fair condition with creasing in the spine and fading along the book's canvas covers. The book's dust jacket is missing, and the end sheets are also fading around the book's top and bottom edges. The pages are slightly yellowed with age but a free of marks, creases, and stains on their faces. From a side view with the book closed, you can see some splatter stains that are quite minimal.

Dark mark at base of back cover about an inch long. Front cover has fully intact silver lettering. Thick cardboard stock dust jacket shows some wear and staining as well as minor chipping along the top back edge and at the back inside top and bottom of flap. The book's pages are clean and crip but minor stains appear on front and back end sheets.
