The final recipe: "Hasish Haraira." Yacoubi contributed to the 1979 Black Sparrow Press anthology of Moroccan fiction Five Eyes and designed the logo for Echo Press.

In Very Good condition. Light foxing to end papers and edge of page block, a few pages show a spot of browning to margin. Faint scuffing to front board. Top end of back strip appears glued down. Dust jacket shows light soiling, with insect wear along edges and folds. A very lovely copy.

An uncommon signature from the critically-acclaimed author of Revolutionary Road and this late novel, set in a New England prep school.

Fine with a hint of toning to the spine cloth and shelf wear; bright and clean internally save for a name stamped on the title page; sturdy binding. Rare in commerce.Perhaps the standard World War I text on treating post-traumatic stress disorder, then called "shell shock." Those were different times. Yealland, a Canadian doctor working at the British National Hospital, basically believed that shell shock essentially didn't exist, or was merely a temporary condition that needed to be expelled by auto-suggestion, strong language, a spatula to the throat or, in the worst cases, electrical shocks directly to the patient's throat. His complete confidence in himself and his methods (touting an 100% success rate) inspired many at the time, but meant that history would not be kind to his legacy or the data he compiled.

An annual yearbook documenting the residents at the Minidoka War Relocation Center in Idaho, showing each block, and various employment divisions and recreational activities.

Light rubbing to cloth at points and rear cover, ding to edge of rear board. Pages lightly toned with an occasional small blemish. A shining and bright example of a beautifully designed book, which tragically is all too often found heavily rubbed and worn. While lesser copies are abundant, one would be hard-pressed to find a nicer copy.

The author's first book, a semi-autobiographical narrative of his boyhood in Sligo, Ireland. Jack Butler Yeats was the brother of poet William Butler Yeats, and son of Irish portrait artist John Butler Yeats. Signed copies are scarce.
