An elegant book, the tales of a modest book collector. Printed beautifully with full color graphics, this is a one-of-a-kind book for anyone who truly loves collecting and fine printing. Excellent condition, with only prior owner's name and date on inside front cover (original owner). Paper cover of front board has book label, and some splits along spine (but book itself is tight). Similarly, spine with book label has two tears, but is intact.

this set of 26 linocuts by Brigitte Hanf with poems by John Fuller is a set of 250 copies, of which this is #201. Signed by illustrator and poet. The set was produced by Sycamore Press of Oxford. Original presentation was in a vinyl envelope with gold thread; the vinyl is split at the bottom but has protected the set of cards perfectly.

this most unusual book, described as a Silent Film, describes the history of a central Asian city called Gulb (or Blug) and the excavation led by Prof. Horace Bedsock, an eminent American archeologist, and financed by his friend , Maximilian Gloat, and discovery of a ritual object. It's all imaginary, of course, and very funny.
This first edition has black wrapper and was originally a limted edition of 100 numbered copies signed by author; this copy is unnumbered and unsigned.
Condition: very good. Pages are clean and unmarked. Black wrapper is slightly bent at top, otherwise fine.

The first edition of this Gorey book appeared in 1968 (Meredith). This later edition (first thus) was produced by Hawthorn Books in (I believe) 1973. It is first printing of this edition. Lacks dust jacket but otherwise in near mint condition.

Single postcard of leap from Niagara Falls (picture shows body going over), coupled with oval portrait of man who made the leap. This is Bobby Leach and he made the leap on July 25, 1911. Postcard is copyright 1911. Other side of postcard is blank. (Can't imagine he survived the fall, but don't know for a fact.)

First edition of one of Djuna Barnes's lesser known titles, a collection of short stories. Also has 2 illustrations, presumably by Barnes. Clean text and good binding. Spine has stamped label, also good. Spine cloth slightly faded. Overall, nice clean very good copy. No dj.

This is a limited edition of 1000 copies prepared for Alicat Book Shop in October 1948 by the Lincoln Press of Yonkers NY. It was originally published in j1915 by Guido Bruno in New York City. This contains both poems by Djuna Barnes and 4 extraordinary illustrations by her. This is #14 of the Outcast Chapbooks. Condition: very good, except that front and back covers are separated from book itself.
