We Won't Pay!" in 1978, but the adaptation has been revised for the present edition. Binding tight, staples unrusted. No marks. Top edge foxed. Covers are irregularly sunned, with minor wear.

Portland, Oregon: Timber Press, 1994. (NAP). Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. 6 3/8 x 9 1/4. Color and B&W illlustrations. 4G. Sewn binding in paper-covered boards, in dustjacket. A solid and attractive copy. Opening widely but binding is signature-sewn and all pages are securely attached, and hinges are intact. Light scratch front cover and some creasing at head of spine. Unclipped dustjacket has some surface abrasiion but no chips or tears; still nice and shiny.

New York: The Newcomen Society in North America, 1951. Second printing (stated). Softcover. Very Good. 6 x 9. 3J. Stapled wraps. The title is available in a cheap Kessinger photostated edition, but this is the original Newcomen Society publication. BInding firm, no marks. Staples rusted but no staining evident. Card covers somewhat soiled, with a light dent on the back cover and a small water-stain on the front cover.

Boards a little bowed. Unclipped dustjacket has hardly any wear, but there's sunning around the edges and on the spine, and a little of the dye from the boards has transfered to the inside of the jacket, but that's not visible from outside.

The covers have handling and abrasion wear and some smudging, but the internals are fine. The base has some smudging on the back of the sheet, which will be face-down on the table when the model is erected.

Unclipped dustjacket shows some edge and surface wear, with some creasing at top edge.

This title is available in a cheap recent reprint, but this copy is the original Devin-Adair edition, with sewn binding and real cloth covers. A solid copy with firm binding, square spine and intact hinges. No marks. Some light smudging aloing page-edges. Small faint stains edge of back of map page. Unclipped dustjacket is 'Fair only" with much handling wear, shelf-soil, sunning and wear and tear along the edges; front flap creased.

I've rated this "good only" because while the binding is tight, with uncreased spine, and there are no marks, the back cover is scratched and dented, and there is some cover creasing and wear to extremities. Not a beautiful copy, but solid.

Pinprick spot on fore-edge. Virtually no wear to covers. Unclipped dustjacket has some shelf-soil, a little wear to extremities, and isbn label on the back panel. The staples have left faint marks (not rust) inside the dustjacket, not visible from outside.

A solid though not beautiful copy with tight binding and good hinges; spine is slanted. Name in marker on front flyleaf, else no marks. Condition "Good+ only," however, because the cloth covers are badly sunned both on the spine and around the edges; the cloth spine is creased, and the spine titles are faded. Cloth creased at spine-ends, with some wear at the edges.
