Top edge red; 83,[7] pp. Brief gift inscription on front free endpaper. A fine copy, in very good, later issue dust jacket whose typography, binding, and design is by Vincent Torre. Sylvia Plath was born in Boston in 1932, and lived in England with her husband, the English poet Ted Hughes, and her two children until her death at thirty. This book was published in England in a somewhat different form by William H. Heinemann Ltd. in 1960. There was a second impression of the American first edition in 1967.
