Description:
The story of Violet Szabo,widowed at the Battle of El Alamein, who joined the British SOE as a secret agent in France. She was parachuted into Limooges in June 1944 to co-ordinate the the work of the Resistance in the first days after D-Day. Captured ny a panzer division, she was handed over to th Gestapo in Paris. She was sent to Revensbruck concentration camp and executed in January 1945. Szabo was posthumously awared th George Cross and the Croix de Guerre.
