A very good copy with wear to extremities with light slither chipping to spine tips & bottom right foot of spine. Wear to gutter hinges and light chipping to label. Internally clean with neat manuscript name & date [1829] to half title. A very good copy of an uncommon title in first edition in rare original publishers boards. The Desolation of Eyam is a tragic poem describing a Seventeenth century outbreak of plague in the Peak District.

Very clean with wonderful period plates by Arthur Watts. The rare dustwrapper is complete with some edgewear to extremities and mild toning to spine. Original price of 7/6net to front flap.
