One of two published books during Umbra member N.H. Pritchard's following The Matrix Poems 1960-1970. He was also published in several journals, though EECCHHOOEESS would be his last published work during his lifetime. His poetics would be revisited decades after his death and anthologized by Ugly Duckling Presse, Primary Information and DABA Press in the 21st century.

A sort of Whole Earth Catalog of sexual freedom which burst out of the queer zine renaissance of the 1980s/90s, EIDOS contains letters, resources, humor, erotic poetry, news, editorials, and more. This copy bears mailing address sticker for Holy Titclamps zine in San Francisco, another queer zine by Larry-Bob Roberts.

The question of survival for cities was a true passion of Jane Jacobs, who possibly interrogated cracks in the sidewalk for answers to how and why some thrive and others rust. Hardcover, 6 1/4" x 9 1/4", green boards with black lettering in glossy pictorial dust jacket, 271 pp. Very Good/Very Good jacket, soiled and edgeworn throughout but complete.. The last Edsel known to be built came off the assembly line of a Louisville, KY Ford Motors Plant November 19, 1959. Warnock spent years interviewing former Ford fabricators, designers and linesmen attempting to reconstruct the short history(1957-1960) of the Edsel automobile once he found out that all pre-1957 documenting and photographic memoranda of the automobile had disappeared. Named after Henry Ford's son, the Edsel failed commercially after a multi-hundred thousand dollar advertising campaign and it's television debut on the Bing Crosby show with Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney and Louis Armstrong in 1957. The car was introduced during a time of noted depression in car sales.

Wear and toning around edges, one small paint stain to crown of spine, light soiling to text block, former bookstore sticker to rear paste down. Soiled, rubbed, and spine sunned jacket has neatly separated at all folds save spine to rear flap, but is otherwise complete save some chipping around edges and corners.. Early text on the "New Dance", scarce in First Edition.

Perfect-bound, octavo, pictorial wraps, [10], xvii, 235 pp. Very good signed book, top right corner half-title page inscription, light shelf wear and soiled edges. Carl Solomon spent many years in and out of psychiatric hospitals from the late 1940s through the mid 1960s, decrying the shams of societal values and institutions. He was a writer on the margins of all he opposed, and later in life eventually circling back to where he began with balance, becoming a devotee of his local Shul, steadying his mental state and holding a steady job as a messenger while still self-identifying as a Dostoyevsky character.

Very good, light wear and rubbing along saddle-stapled spine, additional minor wear and creasing to book and cover wrappers. Eugene Lyons was a child of the Socialist Party of America, raised in red diapers and served in the U.S. Army during World War I. After his service, he wrote about Elizabeth Gurley Flynn's commitment to the IWW and work she did on behalf of the Workers Defense Union. He visited Sacco and Vanzetti often while they were incarcerated, even going so far as to visit Sacco's hometown and meet with his older brother who was mayor at the time. Over time though, Eugene Lyons views radically shifted to the right and he became a proponent of HUAC embracing McCarthyism and denouncing his formerly embraced ideologies. This is his anti-communist tract, questioning the U.S. school system's supposed permission of leftist ideas entering it's curriculum.
