The whole manuscript reproduced in litho facsimile, printed in red and black throughout. Many sections uncut at the head. A very good copy. The manuscript was lost for some years after becoming separated from the Act of Uniformity. When rediscovered it was deposited in the library of the House of Lords and this printed edition produced.

Bound in later, unlettered cloth. The outer leaves are dusty, showing it was unbound for some time. Scarce. 'The object of the following pages is, to give some idea of the ruinous system of Rundale, as practised in the district of Gweedore ...' The first edition was published in London in 1845. The Dublin edition is expanded by the inclusion of the map , two lists of premiums offered to tenants, and two Addresses to his peasantry, upon the bad effects of the subdivision of land.

The text consists of a mixture of sheets with Kiii signed Iiii as in STC 17653a and Aiiir with the catchword 'Temporibus' as in STC 17653a.3. Cciii is signed Bbiii and there is an unsigned leaf inserted between Ttti and Tttii. The pagination is equally unsynchronised. Collates: [unsigned]4, A - Nn6, Oo4, Aaa - Sss6, Ttt7, Vvv - Qqqq6, *6, **4. The final leaf of the Praefatio in good quality facsimile (10 lines of text only), but includes the final 2 pages of errata apparently lacking from some copies.
