S. 6th Cavalry. It is dated July 1, 1877 and signed by Dr. Bruno J. Rolak on first page. On the back is pasted "Instructions For Sentinels". Samuel M. Whitside, as a Captain founded and commanded Camp Huachuca in 1877. Fort Huachuca is a product of the Indian Wars of the 1870s and 1880s and today, is one of the major military installations in Arizona. No writing inside with crisp cover. Monograph No.1 Western Pioneer Series. ; 6 1/4 in. x 9 3/4 in.; 32 pages.
