Scraped spine edges front and back, and scraping to edges of boards. Light bumping to corner tips and spine edges. Paste-downs and end papers are tanned, and have tiny pin-prick stains, possibly foxing. Very faint, very small. FFE has rough patch where old price sticker was removed. 701 pages.

F.A. Davis Company, 1963. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. Qto. Dust jacket is worn, chipped, torn, nicked, crimped, yellowed and fragile. Black texted boards, with an embossed impression of Rodin's hand of David. Slight fading to top edges of boards. The worn DJ has done a nice job of keeping the boards free of markings. Slight bumping to heel of spine. Light toning to pages. 215pps.

Bill Hinbern, 2004. Softcover. Very Good. Hard to find publication, self-published by the author. 72 pp. Very clean and little used condition. Very lightly bumped corners. Light creasing of covers due to lightweight nature of magazine paper and cover stock. Otherwise, in like new condition.

Printed and distributed by the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI, most likely released during the tenure of William Sessions, who wrote the forward, between 1987 & 1993. Soft cover binding with ghost remnants of an old price sticker on front cover. Bumping to corner tips of cover and the page block. Crimping around outer edges of front and back cover. The bottom of the text block has 3 punctures which have left small, pencil tip sized, perforations at the corners. Unmarked pages. Firm binding. 119 pages.

W.G. Newberry, 1989. Softcover. Good. Small softcover reference book. This is the 22nd Anniversary edition, revised and printed in 1989. Smudged yellow wraps. Former owner name and initials on wraps and interior. Laminated "Riggers Capacity Card" paper clipped to title page. This is a good copy, quite readable and usable. Scraping along edges of wraps. Bit of staining on front and rear wraps. 128 pages.

Han-Shan Tang Books, 1194. Hardcover. Very Good. Blue leatherette covers with gilt lettering, symbols, title and author. No dust jacket (as issued). Lightly bumped corner tips, more pronounced on rear cover, but still light in nature. Very clean, unmarked pages. Outer text block is extremely clean. The spine is tight. Book does not appear to have been used, read, consulted, etc. Nice copy! 197pp.

The National District Heating Association, 1932. Softcover. Good. Softcover book with faux leather finish buckram cloth. Gilt title on front wrap is bright, with darkened gilt on spine. Edges of spine strip are worn and rubbed, as are all tips of the wraps, and head and heel of spine. Pages, pastedowns and end pages are age-toned. The insert fold-out diagrams are intact. Outside textblock has small stains which could be foxing, but doesn't really appear to be that, but just small stains. 529 pps + index pages.

Boards are covered with clear plastic bookcovering, akin to shrink wrap as it fits snugly, although has begun to split along the rear edge of spine strip. Front pastedown has ex-libris sticker of previous owner. FFE has small dark stain as well as a lighter stain. A small stain on outside edge of text block. Clean pages. 430 pages

American Judicature Society, 2005. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. Little to no usage. Light scuffing to the wine red covered boards. Gilt title on front nice and bright, same for spine. Very firm binding. Very tight. 263 pages.

Institute of Chinese Medicine, 1995. Second Edition. Softcover. Acceptable. 9x6x1. Second edition, published in 1995. This copy appears to have been rebound at some point with a thick plastic binding comb. The book itself is 1.5 inches thick. The yellowed, and somewhat fragile, comb itself is about 2 inches thick. On the "spine" of the comb, a plastic label sticker was affixed that says "Formulas." That label will stay in place. After this book was rebound with the comb, a clear adhesive sheet was placed onto the original softcover wraps to provide stiffness. The wraps have yellowed over time, with rubbed edges all the way around, bumped and creased corner tips, and in general, has seen much usage. Dirty thumbprint smudges on outside text-block and at lower corner. Ex-Libris sticker on inside front cover. Bryggens Museum, 1978. Softcover. Acceptable. Scuffed and lightly scratched bright green covers. Edges of covers are scraped and bumped all the way around. Corner tips of spine are lightly bumped and rubbed. Clean text block and pages. Tucked in the back of the book is a small guide/handout from the Bryggens Museum in Bergen, Norway. Very readable copy.

Filled with stamps, card pockets, handwritten Dewey decimal numbers, etc. Protective mylar DJ over original dj is scuffed and scratched. Cellophane tape used to tape flaps over front and back boards is yellowed, aged and fragile. Has left ghost imprints and stains on end pages. Brown cloth covered boards appears to have faded. Worn edges, corner tips and spine ends. That stated, binding remains solid. Stains on textblock. 379 pages.

Self. Softcover. Good. Out of print book published by the author, date unknown. Lightly bumped corner tips, with lightly crimped and scraped cover edges. Top and bottom of spine are lightly bumped, and the covers are slightly scuffed. Clean, unmarked pages. Book has a slight wave to it.

The paper covering on the boards is worn through, scraped, discolored, dented, scribbled on, scratched and dirty. Printed covering is red, black along the hinges. Board tips are worn through, exposing the cardboard. Scraping along edges of spine, and very worn at heel and head of spine. One former owner name on the front pastedown, another name and pencil writing on FFE. Paste downs, end pages and fly leaves are age-toned, with darker staining in the hinges, and also have foxing. Lightly toned pages. 184 pages.

Scuffed and lightly soiled wraps. Well age-toned pages. First few pages are crimped and folded at tips. Interesting look back at cruising via cargo ships 50 or so years ago. Cruising on cargo ships is still possible today, although at much higher rates than those to be found in this publication. 128pp.

Extremely worn dust jacket: Faded, chipped, nicked, scraped, scuffed, with small rips and tears. the back of the DJ has had a tear repaired with a piece of cellophane tape. Inner flap is clipped. Very shelf-worn. Tips are worn through to cardboard. Spine ends are worn. Pages are lightly yellowed. Stitched in binding is holding up nicely with all page signatures intact, with no loose pages. Kiddos can follow Harold on his journey with his purple crayon to check in on the moon and the stars. Rear end page has a 2 inch long scribble in green crayon.

An inscription, in very shaky hand, by the author on title page. Edges of wraps are discolored. Bumped tips. The staples are holding fast. No loose pages.
