Boroko, Papua New Guinea: Jacaranda Press, 1969. [Beier, Ulli]. Kovave: A Journal of New Guinea Literature (Vol. I, No. 1, November 1969). Boroko, Papua New Guinea: Jacaranda Press, 1969. Ulli Beier (1922-2011) was a German scholar, writer and editor who taught at the University of Ibadan and was largely credited with developing literature, drama and poetry in Nigeria. There were traditional songs, poems, fiction, a book review, a play and fantastic illustrations by New Guinea artists. 9.5" x 7.25"… Read More
