A very good copy.Greek edition of Aristophanes' comedies printed in Venice by Giovanni Griffio and edited by humanist Angelo Canini from Anghiari. In the preface, Canini addresses the young "lovers of Greek and eager to learn" in an epistolary form, saying that he wanted to prepare a text as correct as possible for the needs of their studies. Taking up the invitation of the publisher Giovanni Griffio, the editor "healed many wounds", limiting himself to "marking the incurable passages with an asterisk".
