Buffalo, NY: Institute of Further Studies, 1964 - 1969. First Edition. Six original quarto issues, comprising the entire run. Staple-bound corrugated card wrappers; covers variously decorated, two with pasted-on pictorial labels; one with a bit of faux fur; final number with sculptural inclusion of a length of sisal baling twine penetrating front wrapper; all issues unpaginated, printed rectos only. Mild toning to wrapper edges; no. 3 with partial separation to covers at bound edge, but generally clean and complete, Very Good or better, retaining all of the original cover decorations which are often lacking. A charmingly eccentric journal of 1960s experimental poetry. Contributors include Wah, John Wieners, Charles Olson, John Clarke, Ed Sanders, Albert Glover, Robert Duncan and others. The journal was issued practically without publication information or imprint; Fred Wah's name appears most frequently in an editorial capacity but others were likely involved. Rare as a set, with early issues… Read More
