(3)-136pp, numerous woodcut diagrams, contemporary sheep with blind tooled Cambridge panels on sides, neatly rebacked with a new plain and unlettered spine, original endpapers reused, no half-title A1, some old cracking to the leather on front board, contents locally a trifle dusty, but generally very good. Inscribed on front endpaper "Saml. Langford/ Book/ Anno Dom. 1754" in a calligraphic hand and with some other contemporary notes on payments for "oyle" and wine and glasses. Later manuscript notes on rear endpapers.
