Relatively uncommon, OCLC locates 15 copies. Illustrated self-wrappers. Very good.

The cures included one for Mrs. Ann Mattingly's Foot, and one for Sister Mary Apollonia Digges' pulmonary consumption, accompanied by affadavits. Well represented institutionally, although scarce in the trade. American Imprints 8364.

A native of Georgia, he saw action in the Chesapeake and Hampton Roads, in the sounds and rivers of North Carolina, and in Charleston. Cover title: "Confederate States Navy." Not in Nevins or Dornbusch. Not in Turnbull or Thornton. Very good. Original gilt-stamped gray cloth (front board spotted, abrasion at upper corner). (9927).

A British-Turkish military force invaded Lebanon in September, 1840, in order to force Mehmet Ali to return Syria to Ottoman rule and to abandon his dangerous attempts to partition the Ottoman Empire."
