Jacket is quite stained/browned and foxed, with edgewear including chipping and rubbing. Binding is tight, minor edgewear/bumping and discolouration to boards. Minor edgewear to covers. Minor foxing and browning to page block edges, slight spotting to early/rear pages but text clean. Includes 8 pages of black and white photos. One signature of the page block is printed on different paper of lower quality than the rest, binder's error. Inscribed to Noela in French by Carre on the title page, and includes two personal cards written by her addressed to Noela. 'On m'appelair la chatte', or 'I Was Called the Cat' is the revised memoir of French Resistence agent turned double agent in WWII Mathilde Lucie 'Lily' Carre.
