This album contains facsimiles of letters by Jeanne D'Arc, autographs of Henri IV, Corneille, Jean Bart, Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Robespierre, Napoléon, etc. Many of the items are double sided and some have a transcription into printed French from the handwriting. There are small pieces of tape on some of the items, often to act as hinges to see the reverse, they look a bit incongruous but are part of the publisher's original mounting.
