Unusually copy signed on front free endpaper by historically significant group of seven British and American staff present at First Quebec Conference codenamed Quadrant (August 1943), a highly secret military conference attended by Churchill and Roosevelt to discuss issues concerning World War II including the atomic bomb and invasion of France. All seven signatures are bold in blue and black fountain pen inks; three add ranks below signature. The head of the endpaper is dated August 1943 in an unidentified hand; front pastedown signed by D.
