New York: U.S. Steel/The Theatre Guild, 1952. Original Programs . Paper. A nice collection of 13 foldover programs for plays that were done on the radio in the early 1950's presented by U.S. Steel and the Theatre Guild. The plays presented were a varied lot ie. 1984, Over 21, Man and Superman, Trilby and others and featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood and Broadway including Rex Harrison, Tyrone Power, Deborah Kerr, Judith Anderson and many many others. Each program is a foldover with bios on the stars along with their portraits and some have diagrams of the Belasco Theatre where the plays were broadcast from. The production Relfected Glory was to star Bette Davis, but her name is crossed out, and ill is written next to it, but there is a nice portrait of her along with her bio. Light wear to some of the programs, with some of the programs missing the Belasco diagrams, and also most of the programs are missing the cover pg. . Uncommon. Vg. Sold as a collection only.

Illustrated with many photos with nice design + photos and interviews. Includes tear off postcards to be sent to some of Bono's favorite causes including Greenpeace, Amnesty International and AmFar. Uncommon and will become more so. Near fine.

Nice green moire boards with gilt lettering and gold endpapers. One teeny tiny soil spot to the margins of two pages, and the usual light fading to the spine.The original plastic slipcase has some light wear, tears, but otherwise the book is in nice condition.

Hollywood: United Artists, 1960. Original Photographs . Oversize Paper. A nice group of 7 11' x 14" original photographs from the John Huston western that had a stellar cast: Burt Lancaster, Audrey Hepburn, Libblian Gish, Audie Murphy & John Saxon. The film was a failure at the box office and received mixed reviews. The photos are printed for the most part on heavy stock paper with the rubber stamp of the photographer Phil Stern on the verso of 4 of the phtographs. The images are wonderful with portraits and scenes featuring the cast. There are especially nice ones of Lillian Gish. One of the stills has a large corner crease but is nearly invisible to the eye. Also included is a 4pg. program with publicity sheets laid in, which indicates that this was a special program for previews and critics viewings.
