Two works on southern Peru, the fist by Prado, historian, travelled from Lima, Arequipa, Puno and especially in and around Cuzco, with observations on conditions, indigenous peoples (los Quechuas), etc. The second work, gives a notice of the recently discovered Machu Picchu by Bingham, and describes other Incan and pre-Incan structures and sites in and around Cuzco.
