This exquisite, rare, 1st Edition copy has been exceptionally well preserved! It has 314 pages, not 340 as do the later editions. F. W. Farrar was Archdeacon of Westminster and in the Preface writes: "All but three of the following Sermons were delivered in Westminster Abbey during my terms of residence as Canon in November 1891 and January 1892…. I have consulted many of the books and treatises which have been published on the Ten Commandments." In the Introduction Farrar adds this about the Ten Commandments, the oracles of God: "They contain says Dr. Kalisch, the primary basis of revelation and the fundamental laws of the whole Mosaic legislation."Good++ to Very Good. All pages are intact. There are NO notes, NO circles,
