Dillon Ripley provides an Introduction to this arresting array of aerial photographs (including 16 of full-color), and Owings' text provides a social history of the American aesthetic. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, neat and tidy paste-downs though with a creased first free endpaper; not ex-library, with neither highlighting nor underlining. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing moderate wear along edges, spine head and foot, chipping, short, closed tears, soiling along bottom rear panel, but protected by a plastic coat, not price-clipped. [8], 9-198 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
