Small quarto, 319 pages with numerous illustrations from photographs plus numerous pages of colour plates. Papered board very slightly marked and a little bumped at the extremities; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper (a little sunned and creased). 'An important study of both well-known and forgotten jewellery fashions and trends. It aims to spotlight areas of collectibility - mainly from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries - which are available for enthusiasts today.' (From the blurb).
