Rare edition of this rare study of Yaka and Suku art from the aforenamed tribes. It is a beautiful and erudite book. It begins with 16 full page color photos of examples of Yaka and Suku art.. It has b&w photos of seemingly every variety of their art, many full pge, throughout the volume, along with captions and essays. The book would be in new condtion except for pronounced bumps at the front cover corners. The dust jacket has has small and large tears along the edges as well as soiling and wrinkling. The covers appear to be of linen over hard boards. Text in English and French.
