Ritchie as frontispiece as well as a full page map showing the alleged escape route from Washington D.C. to the Garrett's Farm and a diagram of the theater where Lincoln was assassinated, inner hinges are preserved and text is secure and in very good shape, dust tone to cover boards and chips missing to spine below titles, there is soil to end papers with previous owners markings, tear to frontispiece tissue guard, this rare book survives as an important research tool and an artifact of a tragic period of time in post-civil war America
