Near Fine copy of Baedeker's Handbook for Travellers with 72 maps, 19 plans and 12 panoramas with the very scarce original dust jacket.
Book is near Fine. Soft leather boards are in Fine condition having been protected by DJ. Binding is in very good condition.
Edges marbled. Internally clean free of foxing, markings or inscriptions except for previous owner name in pencil on title page and previous sale price and year in pencil on half title.
DJ has age related wear with chipping at extremities and closed tears at folds (see images).
A very scarce title with DJ particularly in such condition. It includes rare publisher's slip on detaching sections, if desired.
