Good. 526pp; Brown cloth boards with gilt titling to spine, front board fore-edge worn, slight wear to spine ends, original decorated endpapers (rear free endpaper missing), pages slightly age-toned, previous owner's name to flyleaf, binding shaken, text unmarked, Good condition. Scarce, quirky, antique tome from Edmund Shaftesbury's Ralston University. Volume 2 of the Ralston Natural College series. Edmund Shaftesbury was the pseudonym for Webster Edgerly (1852-1926) the author of numerous self-help guides and systems. Partial Contents: The Ralston Movement Cure; Music and Exercises; Conservation of Vitality; The Beautiful Minuet; Little Lectures. Also includes at rear the "Gold Form" to be filled out by the applicant to Ralston University. Illustrated with many line drawings & musical notations.
