Early signature to ffep. Minor worm trail to two plates (not touching images), their text pages and two page-index. Contents nr. fine. Contemporary patterned calf boards, rebacked retaining original backstrip, with new spine label, neat repairs to corners and rear and in vg. plus condition. A pleasing opportunity to obtain the first two volumes of this magnificent work.
