Macmillan, 1910. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1910. Shilling Edition. 280 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. End papers are more notably tanned. Presentation plate to front paste-down. Minor pencil marking to front front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Book has a moderate forward lean. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering has become dull. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Larger split to rear joint.
