About This Item
Undated. Appears to be the first edition, published in the 1930s. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on front. Contains 6 colour plates (including one as frontispiece) and additional b&w plates and illustrations.
Boards are heavily worn with large pale stains on front and rear; rubbed along edges; corners bumped and head/tail of spine crushed and chipped; spine faded. Owner's inscription in pen on front free endpaper. Mild foxing on a few pages at front and rear; otherwise clean. Hinge starting to crack at front gutter but binding remains firm.
