Red cloth-covered boards; blind embossed design on front, gilt titles on spine. Lightly bumped spine heel. Top text block edge sprayed. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine sun faded, has two 2cm closed tears on rear, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price unclipped. A large and heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery. 8vo. Professor Mikerjee integrates the extremely complex Indian cultural history into a harmonious whole, in this admirable work containing a wealth of information, imaginatively presented in a lucid and absorbing style.
