SIGNED by the Author on the title page, 8vo, gray quarter cloth with gold lettering on spine over light gray boards, archival mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket (unclipped) depicting a black man hunched in a wheelchair in the midst of other nightclub onlookers painted by David Bowers, 306 pages. Robert Skinner is well known for his non-fiction writing on the career of African-American novelist Chester Himes and on the American hard-boiled crime story. SIGNED and in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION in all respects! No remainder marks.
