Dark blue coloured endpapers. 1/4 black coloured boards with red coloured titles to the backstrip. 3/4 blue coloured boards. Illustrated dustwrapper with red, white and blue coloured titles to the front panel and red and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear book panel. Two men, one a young Aboriginal lawyer, and, the other a cynical middle-aged publicity man, are washed out to sea, and battle what nature throws at them and when they reach shore, they "... find disaster is heaped upon misfortune." -- from the front fold over panel blurb. They, strangers, are brought together to find an old Aboriginal man in a rape-murder case ..... Softening of the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Bumping of the lower right-hand corner of the front panel. Age toning of the text block edges and pages with sunning of the end papers. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Tears to the top dustwrapper edge with heavy rubbing to all edges. There is a piece missing from the top right hand corner of the front fold over panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 241, [1] pages.. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
