The book and its dust jacket are both in impeccable Fine+ condition, with no flaws or marks. The dust jacket is intact and is preserved in an archival cover. The signature and inscription reads: "To Herb/In friendship.../Dennis Etchison" along with the date 7/13/2000, the year of this edition's publication.

Illustration(s) by J.K. Potter, who also created the memorable artwork associated with Stephen King's "The Skeleton Crew."

Herb Yellin, the recipient of the inscription, was the head of Lord John Press. The printing press made a significant impact in the publishing realm, gaining renown for its high-quality collector's editions.

Dennis Etchison was a seasoned writer who shared many stories about his long standing work as a writer, including a memorable tale of selling his first story to a nudie mag while still in high school. Following its successful publication, the young Dennis Etchison had to convince the cashier at a small mart of his identity in order to purchase a copy of his own story. His literary contributions have earned him numerous awards over the years. He's novelized popular horror works, including titles like "Videodrome." There is a rumor going around that Etchison has never set any of his stories in England.
