Quarto hardcover in beautiful ornate/gilt decorated covers (signed, with initials ) , top edge gilt, deckled edges, tight binding, pages of very high quality paper, high quality printing--Caxton Press, covers have light wear at tips, else VG++++ possibly NFINE, enclosed in clear heavy mylar wrap. A beauty! End of the 19th century and everyone is enthralled with driving, errr horses. Single carriage, double horse teams, single horse, wagons, etc. Etiquette of driving, how to hold the reins, care of the Vehicles, etc etc. An interesting step-back to the time before automobiles. Profusely illustrated throughout. Dozens of pages of photos -collated. This book is a beautiful treasure. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
