About This Item

Chicago: The University of Chicago Press. Paperback. Good. Crisp, clean pages except for a small droplet mark on the right edge of the book; the soft cover is noticeably faded along the spine and shows tiny corner creases and scattered scuff marks, otherwise sound. x, 167pp. incl. index. Disproves the American belief that punching down is inevitable for the reason that some people profit: everyone - including the already powerful - would profit more from more egalitarian approaches. The powerful are just too lazy (or they just enjoy punching down too much) to change.
