Twelvemo, xi, [3], 75pp. Quarter blue cloth, title on label affixed to spine. No additional printings noted. Soiling to spine and label. Internally clean. Inscribed on the front free endpaper: "To Dr W.S. Currie, with kind regards of Henry W. Taft / New York, Dec. 21, 1927." Henry W. Taft, born (1859-1945) was an American attorney and civic leader during the early 20th century. He was the younger brother of President William Howard Taft. Henry Taft was a partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. He specialized in corporate law and antitrust litigation. Taft also engaged in political activities, particularly within the Republican Party, where he served as a delegate to several national conventions. He was a prolific legal scholar, writing over ten books during his lifetime.
