London: Max Parrish, 1957. Undetermined. very good. 1st Edition. 240pp. Quarto. Publisher's blue cloth; spine title in gilt. Spine faded, minor shelfwear to crown and foot, corners bumped. Inscription in ink to front paste-down, dated 1957; hand written card placed loosely in at front with additional detached dust jacket panels and advertisment poster. Illustrated colour frontis; B/W plates from photographs in text. A tight copy; interior bright and clean. very good Association copy; personally inscribed by the author and his wife to their friend, French film director Bernard Pierre. A facsimile of Douglas Busk's obituary in the Times is tipped in with a note from his wife to M. Pierre. Also included is the publicity annoucement for Pierre's film "Montagnes de la Lune", released in 1957. Ephemera and association make this copy one of a kind. 1957
