A collection of short pieces, speeches, article and papers from American statesman, lawyer and 1970 Pulitzer Prize winner Dean Acheson. As Truman's main foreign policy advisor from 1945 to 1947, Acheson also helped design the Truman Doctrine, the Marshall Plan and NATO. He later set the foreign policy of the Truman administration as Secretary of State from 1949 to 1953. Carefully packaged and shipped in a cardboard box.
