New York, NY, USA: The Baker and Taylor Company, 1910. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. One of an edition limited to three hundred copies, this being No. 2. Signed by the author on the limitation page. lxiv, 314pp, with tissue-guarded portrait plate frontispiece and 262 further illustrations, for the most part of fine prints. Half bound in plain black leather over blue cloth boards. Gilt titles on spine. Deckled edges. Marbled endpapers (possibly replacements). Small 4to. A large and heavy volume which will likely incur an additional charge for overseas delivery. Boards rubbed and scuffed on edges, corners and spine ends, rub marks dotted over spine. Tissue-guard spotted. A little light toning to page margins. A handsome, imposing volume having acquired the patina of use.
