The text is illustrated with black-and-white drawings by the author himself, sizes being from small black-and-white drawings up to full-page illustrations. Red coloured cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white titles to the front panel and black titles to the backstrip. The reminiscences of the author chiefly being that of enjoying food in all its forms, in all places and of the joys of being an artist. dust jacket chipped and torn, on the top edge of the front panel and at the top and bottom of the spine. The paper of the end pages has started to crack, and stitching is visible between pages 64 and 65. previous owners name on 1st page. No other annotations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
