Chicago: The Dixon-Hanson Company, 1910. Hardcover. Good. Chicago. The Dixon-Hanson Company. 1910. Volumes I, II, and III of 8. ½ brown leather binding with tan cloth. Gilt lettering and decoration to spines, which are very sunfaded to a light brown. Some sun fading also to the back covers of volumes I and II. Marbled edges and fully illustrated endpapers. Pages are clean and unmarked save minimal yellowing and ex-library stamps to each front endpaper. Volume I also has the previous owner's signature. The spine of Volume I is cracked along the front cover. Each volume includes halftones, color plates, and etchings, as well as fold out maps. Titles include: Ancient History (Two vols) and Medieval and Modern History. Shelf 1
