First edition, first impression. Signed and inscribed by the author to the title page: "For Mrs Simpson, Graham Greene". The basis for the film adaptation of the same name released in 1979.
Original green cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Slight toning to edges and dustiness to top edge, else near fine or better, in a near fine and unclipped dust jacket with very minor traces of isolated wear to edges. Rare inscribed.
Synopsis
Graham Greene was born in 1904. He worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the Foreign Office. He died in April 1991.
