About This Item

Bright yellow cloth boards with red and gray embossed lettering on cover and spine. Front cover has color print inset and back cover, black and white photo inset.

This is the second volume of the collaboration between the painter, Kalman; the writer, Handler (of Lemony Snicket fame); and MOMA around photographs of several photographers, this little book explores the dance between action and inaction, contemplation and doing. The photographs are mostly black and white, ten paintings are alive with color and the words are playful and thought provoking. Altogether, it's a bright little delight!
