Illustrated with color reproductions. Green cloth, titles stamped in gilt on the spine, sage green endpapers: light scuffs, ink remainder mark to leaf edges at the spine tail. In the laminated color illustrated dust jacket with price intact on the front flap: edges crimped, light scuffs. The British gonzo illustrator and caricaturist imagines the Florentine genius at work, in text and image.

Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.
