Philadelphia: William J. Campbell, 1922. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 437 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in burgundy cloth with a clear removable modern plastic or mylar jacket. The binding shows moderate rubbing and wear, and there are a couple of gouges in the cloth on the front cover. The front inner hinge is cracking and nearly completely open. Front pastedown has a modern owner's mass-market bookplate with the name written down. Foxing to the prelims. The text block of the book is sound, and the text is a little toned but is generally clean. Contains several illustrations and text maps.
